Laura Moore

HND Physical Theatre and Dance
Licentiate UKA

Laura is a qualified and experienced dance teacher and has been dancing for over 15 years.  She is a Licentiate of the professional body UKA (United Kingdom Alliance of Professional Teachers of Dancing and Kindred Arts) and has been duly assessed in her knowledge of dance and ability to teach.  Laura is also part of the British Dance Council which enables her to adjudicate at freestyle dance competitions and is forever expanding her knowledge of dance though teaching and study.

Laura has been teaching Cheerleading, Disco, Freestyle and Street Dance to children and adults of all abilities for five years and her classes are always extremely popular.   Laura showcases her pupils’ talents by holding regular presentation evenings and involves her pupils in many charity shows throughout the North West.

Hayley Milligan

BA (HONS) Dance

Hayley has been dancing for over 20 years and is experienced in many dance styles including Street Dance, Cheerleading, Ballet, Jazz and Contemporary and Physical Theatre and has performed in many local and professional shows. Hayley is an experienced dance teacher, Cheerleading instructor and facilitator of dance and is an Associate of the UKA (United Kingdom Alliance of Professional teachers of Dancing and Kindred Arts), and of the IDTA (International Dance Teachers Association).

Hayley is a Dance Graduate from Northumbria University and has studied Kinesiology and the physical implications of dance in some detail. This allows her to understand the Science that underpins the body in dance.

Hayley has a keen interest in promoting dance to all and is a member of The Foundation for Community dance.

Nicola Gaskell

HND Child Psychology
Associate UKA

Nicola comes from a child psychology background and focused her studies on the importance of play and physical activity to children’s development.  As a result she recognised the positive effects activities such as dance can have on children and together with the professional influences of Laura and Hayley developed a dance and exercise plan to stimulate children’s bodies and minds.

Nicola is also a trained fitness instructor and brings aspects from exercise to music routines such as warm up, stretch and pulse raising activities to both the dance classes and dance and play sessions. Nicola is an Associate of the UKA.

 

Nadine Purslow

Fellow UKANadine has danced for many years and has much experience of running successful dance classes. Nadine is heading up our Ballroom and Latin Department.

 

Georgina McDaid

Georgina has danced for some time and has experience in several styles of dance. Georgina is now assisting with the Ballroom and Latin classes.

Emma Staley

Emma is one of our student teachers. Emma is experienced in Freestyle, Ballroom and Latin and Street Dance and is assisting the Freestyle department.

Oliver McDaid

Oliver is one of our student teachers. Oliver is a talented choreographer and is assisting our Freestyle, Ballroom and Latin classes.

Joe Taylor

Joe is a Student Teacher and is currently studying at Phil Winstons Theatreworks, Blackpool. Joe assists in the running of our Street and Hip-Hop Department.

All our teachers have been CRB checked and are insured under the company’s public liability insurance.
